Fruit and Yogurt Pops

These Fruit and Yogurt Pops are the perfect summertime treat! Mix plain or vanilla yogurt with your favorite fruit to make these easy and refreshing fruit and yogurt popsicles.

popsicles made of fruit and yogurt in a popsicle mold

My oldest LOVES ice cream and popsicles.  She would eat one after every meal if I would let her.  We purchased this popsicle mold (we like this new one better) and have been making them at home ever since.  Making your own frozen treats helps control the amount of sugar and let’s you add in some real fruit as well.  These seriously took less than 5 minutes to put together and pop in the freezer.  I love recipes that don’t call for a lot of ingredients and that are the “make it and walk away” type.

I used the fruit we had on hand, raspberries and mandarin oranges, but you could easily substitute in your favorite fruits to make these yogurt popsicles.  My kids would love blackberries or strawberries.  You could even get fancy and make different layers different colors, or make your own rainbow colored ice pops.  This is an easy recipe to get your kiddos involved.  Chop the fruits for them, or assist them using the food processor, and let them pour the layers into the molds.  The hardest part of making these fruit and yogurt pops is waiting for them to freeze!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 cup whole fruit

Instructions

  • Puree the fruit in a food processor.
  • Mix the honey into the yogurt.
  • Alternate layers of fruit and yogurt into a popsicle or ice cream pop mold.
  • Place in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
  • Run the mold under warm water to easily remove the pops.

Notes

I used two individual containers of yogurt. Feel free to only gently puree the fruits to leave chunks. I used raspberries and Mandarin oranges, but you can use your favorite fruits or fruits you have on hand. Adjust the ingredient quantities depending on the size of your molds.
