I’m always looking for easy snacks to serve when we host game nights with our friends, and even more so now that football season is upon us.  I mean, the food and drinks are the most important parts, am I right?

We usually serve our favorites: a cheese plate or cheese ball, chips with restaurant style salsa or corn salsa, or BBQ chicken nachos.  Whenever I need to load up on game day goodies I make a quick run to Kroger so I can get everything I need for my recipes, along with ready to serve snacks and drinks.

I love using individual serving cups at parties — they are easy to prep and guests can move around instead of all standing by the food table. Hand everyone at your game watching party a cup of these Spicy Ranch Pretzels with a Dr Pepper® and prepare to be the go-to party house.

What’s Needed for Spicy Pretzels?

These ranch pretzels are so easy to make and are so addicting! My oldest kiddo loves to take them for a snack in her lunchbox. That is, if we manage not to eat them all first thing!

Here’s what you’ll need to make this seasoned pretzel recipe:

  • Cayenne pepper
  • Lemon pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Dry ranch dressing and seasoning packet
  • Vegetable oil
  • Pretzels

How to Make Spicy Pretzels

  1. Mix the spices together in a bowl.
  2. Mix in the vegetable oil.
  3. Add the pretzels and seasoning mixture to a gallon size freezer bag. Toss to coat.
  4. Allow to marinate at least two hours before serving.

How to Store Ranch Seasoned Pretzels

Store these spicy pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature. They’ll last up to a week.

Tips for Making Seasoned Pretzels

  • You can use any shape of pretzels you want to make these garlic ranch pretzels.
  • For spicier ranch pretzels, add a little more cayenne pepper (although these pretzels are spicy as is!).
  • Don’t skip the marinating time! The ranch seasoned pretzels needs two hours before they’re ready to be eaten.
