Two Timin’ Penne Pasta

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Ragu®. The opinions and text are all mine.

We make it a point to eat dinner together at the kitchen table every night.  It’s a tradition that started with my parents and one that I work hard to continue with my own kids.  It’s our chance to share about our day and catch up on the time that we spent apart.  Now that both my kiddos are in school it’s become the best part of my day.  My favorite memories of that time together didn’t occur over a fancy five-course meal, but over simple recipes that we all love.

This Two-Timin’ Penne Pasta is one of those recipes.  My oldest asks for it all the time and it really couldn’t be easier to prepare.  Three ingredients + 12 minutes = less time in the kitchen and more time at the kitchen table with my family.  Buying Ragu® sauces from Kroger allows me to save on my prep time while still delivering a taste that we all love.  Ragu® offers an assortment of delicious flavors with more than a full serving of veggies in every half-cup of their pasta sauce.

We make this Two Timin’ Penne Pasta every Halloween because, you guessed it, the sauce is orange.  It’s a fun holiday tradition that we look forward to as a family.  It’s the perfect recipe for a busy evening because it only takes minutes to throw together and gives us more time to focus on costumes, candy, and fun.  We serve it with a big salad and fresh veggies on the side for a delicious, healthy dinner in no time.
