box of Pillsbury™ Gluten Free Chocolate Fudge Premium Brownie Mix

brown sugar

cup
butter
1/4
cup
light corn syrup
1/4

salt

baking soda

pecans
chopped
Instructions
Prepare the brownies as directed on the box.
Allow the brownies to fully cool.
Use a fork or end of a wooden spoon to poke holes in the brownies.
Combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a small saucepan over medium high heat.
Stir constantly until the butter is completely melted and mixture begins to soft boil.
Allow to boil gently without stirring for one minute.
Working quickly, remove from heat and immediately stir in salt and baking soda.
Fold in the chopped pecans and immediately spread the warm mixture on top of the brownies.
