Crock Pot Tomato Braised Brisket
This hearty brisket gets its flavor from tomato paste.

Ingredients

beef brisket

tbsp
Hunt's Tomato Paste
1/2
cup
beef broth
2
tsp
quick-cooking tapioca
1
tsp
Worcestershire sauce
1/2
tsp
chili powder
1/4
tsp
garlic powder
1/4
tsp
salt
Instructions
Place brisket in crock pot, fat side up.
Combine all other ingredients and mix well.
Pour sauce mixture over brisket.
Cook on high 1 hour.
Cook on low 6-8 hours.
Remove fat from top of brisket after cooking.
Slice against the grain, or shred.
Notes
If you don't have any beef broth use 1/2 cup water and a beef bouillon cube. Warm the water in the microwave and then mix in the cube with a fork.
