I have a relationship with Pillsbury and Party Pail which may include compensation, products for review, gift cards, or coupons. As always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
This past weekend Bella had a few friends over for a Valentine’s themed cookie decorating party. Usually I stress way too much about cleaning, decorating, and deciding what to serve, but this was one of the easiest parties I’ve put together!
All of the paper goods came from Party Pail- an online party supply retailer that carries everything from baby and bridal shower supplies to kid and adult birthday party supplies, favors, party basics, and much more. It was super easy to sort by color and pick out what I needed for the party. I loved the little red scalloped place mats- they come 50 to a package for just $4.99 and are perfect for things like this when you want something cute but that you can just toss after the mess happens.
I used Pillsbury® Ready To Bake!™ refrigerated sugar cookies to bake the Valentine Cookie Pops the morning of the party. Just break the cookies apart and pop them on a stick- seriously so easy! No rolling out the dough or worrying about trying to get each cookie pop to be the same size. Instead of making my own icing and worrying about tinting it and portioning it out for each girl, I used Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Classic White frosting. Of course there were plenty of pink and red sprinkles to go around!
It was fun to catch up with the moms while the girls decorated. I made these adorable Sweetheart Cinnamon Rolls for us to snack on. Again so easy to make but so cute. These would be really fun to make on Valentine’s morning for the kiddos.
You might have seen my Heart Shaped Cherry Pies from last week, I did a spin on them for this party and made cute little Mascarpone Fruit Hearts. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter like I did with the pies, but leave these open-faced and top with sweetened mascarpone and fruit. We had raspberries on hand but these would also be yummy with strawberries or a fruit preserve topping.

- While the hearts are baking, mix together all remaining ingredients until spreadable icing consistency.

Aside from being good ideas – the cookies and the mascarpone hearts, you also taught me something … I had no idea you could buy seamless crescent dough now. Makes me much more likely to play with it. 🙂
