Life lately. Oh my goodness, where do I begin. Life has been so jam-packed lately that, most days, I don’t know if I’m coming or going. It feels like we are half-moved in, running from project to project, and not really accomplishing anything. I sure hope we are, because I see the time and money tick by, but when I look around the house it’s hard to tell. (We did complete our first project at least: installing an electronic keyless entry deadbolt.)
After all of the meals we ate from a drive-thru window during our move, I promised to do better once we got settled. Lucky for me, there is a Zoës Kitchen in Tyler near the hardware stores that we have been frequenting for project supplies. Zoës offers the quality of a fresh, home cooked meal, with the convenience of fast casual. As a mom, I appreciate the variety of made-from-scratch, healthful options on the new expanded Zoës kids menu.
Neither of my kids will eat chicken nuggets, and with one allergic to beef and white potatoes, most other “typical” kid’s meal menus are off limits. I love, love, love that Zoës Kitchen offers salmon and salads with their new menu. Isabella is a huge fan of salmon, and I’ve honestly never seen it on a kid’s menu before. Even Ian was getting in on the action and stole half of Sophia’s ham and cheese piadina.
Any place that has cookies the size of your head is a place that my kids will happily eat at every time.
