Crock Pot Tomato Braised Brisket

Raise your hand if you like easy cooking, crock pot meals?  I mean, who doesn’t love them?  As far as I’m concerned, the ONLY downside to making dinner in the crock pot is if you’re home and have to smell the deliciousness cooking all day.  Torture.

I love crock pot recipes.  After I get Bella off to school in the mornings, we come home and I get Sophia all settled in to her high chair for breakfast.  Those precious twenty minutes while she is eating is the perfect time for me to get dinner going.  It seriously makes my day run so much smoother just knowing that I have dinner DONE.

This recipe has quickly become one of my go-to’s.  Simple ingredients that I pretty much always have on hand, and everyone loves it.  We especially love the sauce that comes with cooking the brisket- it’s almost like a moppin’ sauce that’s thin and full of flavor.

We love to serve this crock pot tomato braised brisket with Parmesan smashed potatoes and rolls.  Sometimes I add sliced onion and carrots underneath the brisket in the crock pot.  (One of my favorite ways to eat carrots- SO flavorful and tender.)  This would also be yummy shredded and served on a bun.  However you serve it- don’t throw out the delicious sauce!

Brisket is something I can't seem to get right. But I've never tried it in the crockpot. This looks really good and I happen to love Worcestershire sauce. Thank you for sharing with See Ya in the Gumbo. Your Tomato Braised Brisket will be featured in the Top Five when this week's party goes live on Sunday!
